  • Operations under CDVM control
    A financial transaction is a purchase or a sale contract that allows the exchange of an asset for a payment. It generally aims to employ available capital in order to make a profit, or to settle a previous transaction and get cash in return. Financial transactions can be done either at a stock exchange or OTC with a financial institution or any counterpart. Financial assets are represented by transferable securities. Issuers willing to conduct a financial transaction are required to draw up a prospectus which, prior to its public disclosure, must be generally approved by the CDVM. The Financial transactions conducted in the financial market requiring prior approval from the CDVM are as follow:  Public offerings related to equity or debt securities. These transactions may concern capital increases, IPOs, issuance of debt securities such as bonds, convertible or redeemable common stock; Public offerings concerning securities of listed companies on the stock market....
